Real Estate Better Than Gold?

Far be it from me to say that real estate is better than gold (actually, I do think real estate better than gold), but the folks over at Trulia when conducting their Bi-annual survey on real estate found exactly that! Gold is not as good an investment in the minds of many consumers as everyone thought. It's not too far down on the totem pole but Homes and 401k's took the top prizes.
